GLP-1 therapy

DynaFit

DynaFit may prescribe semaglutide — as an injectable or an oral tablet — or injectable tirzepatide. A licensed provider reviews your intake and determines whether GLP-1 therapy is appropriate for you, and which medication to prescribe. The membership fee covers prescription management, not the cost of medication itself.

How it works

  1. Intake

Complete a health history and goals questionnaire online.

  2. Provider review

Your provider reviews your intake, health history, and goals to make a clinical determination.

  3. Prescription

If appropriate, your provider prescribes a GLP-1 medication based on your evaluation — the specific medication is a clinical decision your provider makes, not a choice presented to you in advance.

  4. Delivery

An approved prescription is sent to a pharmacy for delivery. The pharmacy bills you for the medication separately from your DynaFit membership fee.

Risks and safety information

FDA boxed warning

Semaglutide and tirzepatide medications carry an FDA boxed warning — the FDA's most serious warning — for the risk of thyroid C-cell tumors, including medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC). In rodent studies, these medications caused this type of tumor at clinically relevant exposures; whether the same risk applies to humans has not been determined.

Most common side effects

The most commonly reported side effects, in 5% or more of patients, include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, and other gastrointestinal symptoms. Fatigue is also common, and the injectable forms can additionally cause injection-site reactions.

Who should not take these medications

These medications are contraindicated for anyone with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), and for anyone who has had a serious hypersensitivity reaction to the medication or its ingredients.

This is a summary, not the complete prescribing information. Your provider will review your full medical history and discuss the complete risks and benefits, including the FDA-approved prescribing information for your specific medication, before you begin treatment.

Safety and expectations

GLP-1 medications are a class of prescription medications used for weight management under medical supervision. DynaFit’s providers may prescribe semaglutide — available as an injectable or an oral tablet — or tirzepatide, given by injection. DynaFit does not commit to a specific drug in advance — after reviewing your intake, your provider determines which medication, if any, is clinically appropriate for you.

Eligibility is a clinical determination, not a purchase decision. Not everyone who applies is prescribed medication — your provider may recommend a different approach, or none, based on your intake and history.

Membership is ongoing, not a one-time purchase. As long as you’re enrolled, your provider continues to review how you’re responding and can adjust your plan.

DynaFit does not replace your relationship with a primary care provider or specialist. It is a prescription management service for GLP-1 therapy specifically, delivered by a licensed provider through this practice.
